The University Of Ibadan has already recommended 3,783 candidates out of 56,172 who applied to enter the institution to Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
According to Vanguard, UI recommended this candidates to the body on Wednesday.
The Deputy Vice- Chancellor, Academics, Prof. Adeyinka Aderinto disclosed this on Wednesday while briefing newsmen in Ibadan.
The DVC also added that the current session which is the 2016/2017 academic session would end this January after examinations, screening of those issued admission letters would commence.
The DVC also noted that only 26, 769 candidates scored 200 and above in UTME. And out of the total candiates who sat for the POST-UTME, just 9,268 scored 50 per cent and above out of which 3,783 candidates were shortlisted and then forwarded to Jamb.
